Welcome to Chesterville Public School, home of the Coyotes! We are located in the village of Chesterville, along the South Nation River.
We offer both regular and French Immersion programming for students in Kindergarten to Grade 6. We pride ourselves in being a small but mighty school where students and staff know each other. This helps to create a caring, safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel accepted, motivated, engaged and supported in their learning. Our monthly Character Assemblies give us an opportunity to come together and celebrate and recognize students demonstrating our UCDSB Character Traits.
Targeted and intentional phonics instruction grounded in the Science of Reading is part of all classroom literacy programs to ensure students have the foundation they need to be successful. Number talks, games, and various programs help our students build the numeracy and thinking skills required to build Mathematical Thinkers.
Together we continue to build a caring, inclusive, respectful learning environment where all students, their families, our staff, and our community feel welcomed and valued.
