The students at Chesterville P.S. are collecting the outer printed milk bags. Not the actual milk bag but the bag that holds the three bags. These bags will be cut into strips, crocheted by a group of ladies, and then will serve as sleeping mats for people in Haiti. These sleeping mats repel bugs and provide an alternative to sleeping on the damp, bare ground. They are appreciated because they are washable and don’t disintegrate. It takes 300 – 500 bags for an adult mat and 250-300 bags for a child’s sleeping mat. Please drink lots of milk and send in the outer printed milk bags to Chesterville P.S.
