Eat Breakfast Every Morning!

In our busy lives, we often skip breakfast because we’re rushing in the morning. But studies show that kids who eat a good breakfast learn better, do better on tests, and are less likely to eat junk food during the day.

Challenge: Make some time for a balanced breakfast each morning, choosing foods from at least 3 of the 4 food groups. Need some quick and easy ideas?

  • whole grain toast with peanut butter, and a glass of non-fat milk
  • whole grain cereal with non-fat milk, and a hard-boiled egg
  • oatmeal with almonds, and an orange
