At Chesterville Public School, we are committed to educating the whole child – both academically and socially. We instill in students self-confidence, skills for life-long learning and a desire to succeed. As staff, we instill in one another the understanding that we can work as a team to help every child at Chesterville Public School succeed. As students, parents and teachers, we all work towards one goal – success for all students, where learning is meaningful and memorable.
Chesterville Public School is a family-oriented community school. There are two essential beliefs fundamental to the school’s philosophy. The first is the importance of the child’s self-concept. Children learn best when they feel good about themselves. The second belief is that parental involvement is essential to a child’s education. We welcome parents and community members into our school in whatever capacity they are able. If parents or community members have any questions or concerns about their child’s education, they are encouraged to contact the school.
Sincerely,
Jana Kilger, Principal
