We love to have parent volunteers! The students and teachers are always most appreciative of the interest and the effort involved from all volunteers. Please give us a call (613-448-2224) if you are interested and able to volunteer.
There are many people in our community who may be unaware of our need for help e.g. retired individuals, new residents, grandparents, other talented people. Please let them know about Chesterville Public School- perhaps they would be interested in volunteering with the children in the school!
If you intend to volunteer for or participate with field trips please ensure you complete a Criminal Reference Check (with Vulnerable Sector Screening) application. This can be done online in most cases. Please reach out to the office for the required documentation or email our Office Administrator at [email protected]
Please note it is advisable to apply for this early in the school year - process time at the OPP can take up to two to three weeks, or longer at 'busy times' of the year. If you do not have a check on file at the time of event you will not be able to volunteer.
